2016年2月4日获悉，由中国科学院华南植物园吴彤、邓汝芳等科研人员完成的“聚合箱”获得国家实用新型专利授权（专利号：ZL 201520696696.6）。对生物样品进行聚合的操作主要是在聚合箱中进行，但现有的聚合箱没有控温设备，需另外结合低温冰箱才可使用，降温比较困难，制冷速度难以保证，温度不能控制，且现有的聚合箱都没有估计到紫外光强对聚合效果的影响，制作出来的样品质量不稳定。
