日本物质材料研究机构、东北大学、东京大学和理化学研究所等组成的国际研究小组通过计算机模拟发现,氢化镧(LaH10)在接近室温(-23℃)的超导高压下,通过原子核的量子波动作用在广泛压力区域,成为稳定存在的“量子固体”。这一发现表明,通过含有大量氢气的富氢化合物,可在比预想低得多的压力下实现高温超导和室温超导。
