2019年9月30日—10月5日,国际林联第二十五届世界大会在巴西库里蒂巴市举行。来自全球92个国家和地区的2500多名科研人员参加会议。这是国际林联自成立以来第一次在拉丁美洲举办世界大会。我国约有120名林业科技工作者参加会议,参会人数仅次于巴西和美国。其中,中国林科院有65位专家参会,为中国林科院参加历届国际林联世界大会人数之最。
2019年8月17日-28日,濒危野生动植物种国际贸易公约(CITES公约)第18届缔约方大会在瑞士日内瓦举行,来自包括中国在内的169个缔约方政府代表团、200多个国际组织及新闻媒体共约1700余人出席会议。
