用１２种限制性内切酶对秦岭在熊猫线粒体ＤＮＡ进行了酶切。测定和分析了每种酶所产生片的数量和大小，并与四川大熊猫的限制性片段进行了比较，发现了相同的６种酶的１６个酶切位点中有一个不同。
以解部学方法，对高原鼠肖化系统各脏器的形态学特点进行了观察研究。结果表明，高原鼠兔与同等级动物相比，主要消化器官的基本形态相似，但鼠兔具有特长的盲肠，明显的阑尾特殊结构之结肠粘膜皱裂及肝内硬化结节等特点，为有的生物学和医学研究及该动物的开发利用打下了 形态学基础。
对秦岭地区内１１个县的两栖爬行动物进行了调查研究。该区共有两栖爬行动物６０种（亚种），占陕西省总种数的７５．０％，其中两栖动物１９种，隶２目７科１２属；爬行动物４１种，分隶２目８科２６隶。该区两栖爬行动物区系组成以东洋界华中区或华中一华南区共有种类为主，也有一定数量的广布种和古北界华北区种类，还有少量东洋界西南区种类，并就秦岭地区的两栖爬行动物资源现状提出了５项可持续发展对策。
为了解中华竹鼠与甘肃鼢鼠对食物选择的适应机制，对它们的咀嚼肌相关的骨学特征作了比较解剖，并运用生物力学原理分析下颌运动方式及食物加工过程的咀嚼效率。 结果表明：中华竹鼠下颌咀嚼以上下和左右运动为主，这种运动方式与其下颌关节窝呈卵圆形、左右倒颊齿列非平行排列及臼齿加宽等适应性结构有关；甘肃鼢鼠下咀嚼以水平面的前后向运动为主，该运动方式与其下关节窝呈沟槽状，左右侧齿列平行排列等适应结构有关，中华竹鼠的...
