动物研究所计算与进化生物学研究中心客座研究员、英国皇家科学院院士杨子恒日前在最新一期的Nature Reviews Genetics 上发表题目为“Molecular phylogenetics: principles and practice”的文章。
2010年12月17日，Journal of Genetics and Genomics（JGG）编委会议在三亚召开。来自国内外的29位编委、Elsevier出版社中国区期刊合作负责人周灵妮女士、中国遗传学会办公室主任王长城及JGG编辑部的编辑人员参加了会议。会议由JGG主编薛勇彪研究员主持。
2010年12月14日，上海交通大学Bio-X研究院师咏勇研究员、李志强博士、贺林院士等与山东大学陈子江教授团队共同合作，报道了世界上首个多囊卵巢综合征（polycystic ovary syndrome, PCOS）的全基因组关联分析结果，其中发现了3个相关的易感位点，为研究和认识该疾病的发病机制打下了很好的基础。相关论文近期发表于Nature Genetics杂志。
