Hippo(Hpo)信号通路是从果蝇到哺乳动物中高度保守的信号通路,它调控细胞的增殖与凋亡,进而影响着器官的大小。Yorkie(Yki)是Hpo信号通路的效应分子,在哺乳动物中的同源物是癌基因YAP。磷酸化的Hpo在Salvador(Sav)的帮助下会磷酸化下游的Warts(Wts),磷酸化的Wts进而磷酸化Yki,磷酸化的Yki会被锚定在细胞质中,不能入核启动下游基因的转录。
