骨质疏松症一种以骨量低下、骨组织微结构损坏，导致骨脆性增加，易发生骨折为特征的全身性骨病。大量研究证实，细胞外囊泡（EVs）在调控骨稳态的复杂机制中发挥重要的作用，这些囊泡在病理和生理环境中都起着至关重要的作用，而不同来源的EVs对骨质疏松症有明显且不同的影响。
近日，华西基础医学与法医学院刘肖珩教授团队在Bone Research发表原创研究论文，证实了基质囊泡来源的AnxA5在骨重塑中的重要作用，阐明了AnxA5通过促进基质囊泡与I型胶原的黏附，诱导骨前体细胞发生自噬和加速矿化预防骨丢失的新机制，为骨质疏松症的防治提供新策略。
