英国人类遗传学中心研究人类遗传疾病的分子遗传学，人类和鼠类发育紊乱的分子和细胞基础，人类遗传疾病的动物模型，哺乳类动物的染色体结构和染色体复制和分离的控制，哺乳类动物发育和染色体结构的计算机辅助成象分析，人类基因组图谱，膀胱纤维症的基因治疗等。
河北省农林科学院遗传生理研究所，原为河北省农林科学院农业物理生理生化研究所，成立于1984年。从事植物细胞生物学、分子生物学、植物基因工程、微生物工程及植物生理生化、农业产后技术及质量标准检测与控制等方面的科学研究和技术服务业务，面向社会提供公共服务。获得科技成果59项，有49项分别获国家、部、省级奖励。
辐射研究学会（Radiation Research Society，RRS）的宗旨是促进在自然科学领域中辐射研究的发展，促使物理、化学、生物各学科与医学之间在辐射的特性和作用方面的合作研究，并通过出版物、会议和座谈会推动这些科学领域和相关学科知识的传播。
